Supporting The Turing Trust

We were incredibly proud to be able to support The Turing Trust this year, donating old IT equipment to help support the education of children in Malawi by recycling and refurbishing the devices.

Thanks to our donation 144 students will be able to learn vital IT skills. Beyond this the environmental impact from our donation will offset 2 tonnes of CO2 emissions, which is the equivalent of planting 6 trees. The embodied energy savings created are also enough to power a whole UK home for a year.

With more containers due for delivery in Kenya and Malawi this year, the project aims to provide 100% of secondary schools in Malawi with IT equipment by 2030. The team would also love to expand its projects to further countries, including Sierra Leone, Gambia and the UK.
