We were extremely proud to support Presents Galore Christmas Fair in Newmarket for the second year this November. The event is a fabulous festive feel-good shopping event which has been part of Suffolk’s celebrations since 1987.
Raising money for the Cambridge Children’s Hospital, Newmarket Charitable Foundation and the National Horseracing Museum, over 4,000 visitors attend in search of the perfect Christmas gifts. Held at the Rowley Mile Racecourse, the event welcomes over 120 stalls and welcomes a wonderful display from local performers, including the Soham Comrades Brass Band and the Rock Choir, which were both fantastic to watch.
Last year alone the event raised over £78,000 for the three charities above and we look forward to hearing the grand total reached for 2024. We were proud to attend the sponsors Drink Reception held on the Friday evening, with a Q&A with two-Michelin Starred restauranteur Daniel Clifford, who owns Midsummer House in Cambridge. It was a fantastic evening and a great start to the festive season.
